Our Story
It was a typical winter day in Toronto, and I was on my regularly scheduled putting break from work, daydreaming about my next golfing adventure. As I lit a candle in my office, inspiration struck.
How can I make something that brings back memories of the game I love, even when I can't be out on the course?
This ignited my mission to create premium candles that pay tribute to legendary golf courses from around the world, places I dream of visiting and playing one day. I was lucky enough to experience the home of golf with my family last year (pictured below), I was deeply moved and inspired, and it's an experience I will cherish forever.
Now, through the scents of our candles, I invite you to journey to the fairways of golfing greatness, where the spirit of the game comes to life with every flicker.
Family Connection
Growing up on the West Coast in British Columbia, golf was always a huge part of my life. Those never-ending summer days, beautiful scenery and hanging out with friends made the game something I always looked forward to.
However, my true inspiration to play golf came from the stories my Mom and Grandma shared about my Grandpa, John Merriman (pictured here). He was a professional golfer in the 1950s, and looking at old photos and newspaper articles painted a vivid picture of his love for the game. I felt a deep connection to a man I never had the chance to meet, but whose legacy lives on through the stories of his golfing adventures.
